Palm Beach Lakes running back Juan O'Farill ran for 165 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Rams to a 49-20 win over Okeechobee Friday night.
With the win, Palm Beach Lakes (6-3) secured the runner-up playoff berth in District 15-4A.
The Rams led Okeechobee (0-9) 21-14 at the half but stopped Okeechobee's opening drive in the second half and scored on the next play, a 54-yard run by Tommy Lee Lewis. Lakes then scored on its next two possessions to blow the game open.
It was 49-14 before Okeechobee scored again.
Walt Fortner led the Brahmans with a 5-yard rushing touchdown and a 32-yard interception return in the first half. The latter touchdown tied the game at 14. Fortner later had another interception at the Lakes' 18 yard line.
The Rams had two touchdowns called back because of penalties and another lost when the ball carrier fumbled into the end zone and the Brahmans recovered.
"That darn turnover bug just bit us tonight," said Okeechobee coach Myron Jackson. The Brahmans lost three fumbles on the night.
