Palm Beach Post Staff Report
Park Vista High School is the top seed and host for today's District 8-6A football tiebreaker at 7 p.m.
Second-seeded Seminole Ridge (6-3, 2-2 district) will face third seed Atlantic (5-4, 2-2) in a 12-minute quarter. If the teams are tied after the quarter, the Kansas tiebreaker format will be used — in which each team runs a series of plays from its opponent's 25-yard line — to determine a winner.
That winner will face Park Vista (6-3, 2-2) in a 12-minute quarter to determine the district runner-up.
Boca Raton already has locked up the District 8-6A title.

I Hate Bad Coaching commented on November 9, 2009 at 8:38 p.m.: flag
Atlantic gave the 1st matchup to Seminole Ridge.
How can you end up regulation at the opponent's 15 and have used both time outs and run out of time, not even getting a chance to kick the FG?
Run a sweep on 2nd at the 4 in OT?
NOT kick a FG when you are 4th and 19 in OT?
Congrats to Seminole Ridge for winning the 1st game but Coach Thad blew it.
Plain and simple.
And I feel bad for the kids on the field when their playoff chances are ended by bad coaching.

All I have to say is Atlantic got what they deserved. I remember when the Atlantic QB made a comment to the affect that it would be impossible for them to lose their regular season game against Seminole Ridge. That is plain and simple arrogance and very unsportsmanlike. It was extremely funny when I woke up the next morning to see that Atlantic had lost. This is high school football, not the pros. This is a time when you learn about sportsmanship and to respect your opponents. Atlantic's arrogance got them exactly what they deserved, they will be watching the playoffs from this bleachers this year.

This is for Person , It is very obvious you have some beef with my son. If you had to wake up to read about the score, my guess is that you were not at the game. A real sportsMAN would have been there. The best coached team won.
