Lets look at what should be a great high school game. Running back - both teams have a d-1 kid but we will give edge to WTD here. QB - no doublt Atl gets edge. Wide Receiver - Atl has 2 d-1 and 2 that will be d-1 - advantage Atl. O line - booth good both solid but we will give a slight edge to WTD. Defensively is the key!!! All of Atl defense only plays defense - gotta help both their offense and defense. Some very good players on both sides but Atl's only play one side. Might come down to special teams - Leal punts for Atl and is averaging over 40 yards - I heard Atl has a new place kicker???? So it looks to me like it adds up Atl in a battle. I will enjoy!!!

Jason I did not go see my blue devlis tonight because I wanted to see if that win over my devils was just a bad night for my devils. Dwyer is for real. Jason you were right the Quadarias Mireles and Dwyer CB Darrell Hunter did have a big impact on the game. Hunter shut that kid down. It looked like he was in man coverage most of the game with help going to James Louis side. After the third play of the game when Hunter broke up that long fade pass Altlantic stop going at him. When he did catch the ball Hunter stop him. The score in the 4th by Mireles, Hunter was on the bench sitting. Jason that was a good call that kid can play for Dwyer. With all those other weapons they should go all the way. That hit Matt elam put on James Louis was nasty I think he knocked him out. Was he alright?

Just wanted to say...with all the trash talking and taunting that went on this board yesterday, I want to compliment the players, coaches and band from Atlantic on the respect they showed when the field was being dedicated to Mr. Hubbard. In the middle of this hard fought game, they came down to the end zone to pay their respects along with the Hubbard family. Dr. Lee, and the Dwyer staff and players. It was nice to see that even a game as intense as that one was, the rivalries could be put aside when something that important was being done. Congratulations Eagles!!

Mr. Lieser, the two corners for Dwyer, Clark and Hunter are the real deal. Those two guys have faced some of the best WR's in the county if not the state in the first four games. I can not think of a better set of corners in the county on the same team can you? To my Dwyer fans lets show the class that our staff and community expects from us. So lets stop with all the inappropriate comments!!!!! Lets be leaders not followers. Great site Mr. Lieser keep up the good work. Panther4life. GC's touchdown second touchdown, that 6'6 reciever caught the ball and got hit by that hard hitting Dwyer defense and fumbled, the the ball was then caught in mid air by Dent and he ran off. (That play was amazing, but lucky) That gave GC an extra six points which made it look like something. Like I said if they played 10 times GC would win prabably 4..... nah 3.

Coach Thadius is a Great Coach as well as Coach Daniels, and are doing great with their programs! Consequently, in this game of High School Football, it comes down to Emotional Preparation, in which Dwyer was totally emotionally prepared for this game. If Atlantic can ever get Emotionally prepared for a game, then they might be a State Contender. Until then next time Eagles! GO HARD!
