PV dominated JC's defense and they were basically playing 2 hand touch. JC could never last 60 minutes against PV.

5.Jupiter Christian (look like the team to beat in 1B , but have to beat Glades Day, as they did not last year)
6.Atlantic (have 4 players in top 35 but coaching is a concern)
7.American Heritage (with the loss of such great players they drop, but with there illegal recruiting of players I am sure they will be back on top)
8.Park Vista (Tre Mason is the deal, also have a great line)
9.Seminole Ridge (must reload at RB)
10.Boca High (District Champs last year but lost top 4 producers) -
Day 2 of the UCF team camp had JCS and Park Vista match up again at the end of a long day of scrimmages. Jupiter Christian scores twice and has a third TD pass dropped. Park Vista scores once against JCS defense.
So much for the domination / wear down theory. Keep dropping' em in the ratings.

No doubt. Park Vista ain't done nothin yet. Last year, with Tre, Cody, and Matt they sucked. They got no D at all and Tre better run for 2000 yards or the Cobras ain't got a chance. 8 in the box, make em throw it.

Once again everybody wants to forget about Seminole Ridge. If you look at the top 10, 4 teams are from District 8 6-A. Atlantic, Boca, Park Vista, and Seminole Ridge all play in same district. American Heritage is a fine football team and I would love to play them, so no bad mouthing here. Seminole Ridge spring game was a good game 28-14 win vs. Centennial. To say the Ridge is terrible is pretty foolish so everybody keep forgetting about us while we win district and move into the playoff's. Are run game is one of the best around. Maybe no superstar, just 3 guys that will all get 600-800 yard a piece next season and Gary Holmes just maybe a star. We are a TEAM, in a Team game, that why we just keep winning. Oh and big transfer from the "muck" to Loxahatchee, you'll see and hear about, come August.

whats funny is tht Treasure coast would beat everybody on tht list. the only 3 teams tht would give us problems are GC Dwyer n PV. everybody else we would scrub so # 4 is not bad and ur right were not in the county but its pretty bad when a team not even in county is ranked in top 5

Treasure Coast would be 4-5 on that list, without a doubt. To say only the top 3 would give you problems is an understatement, they would BEAT Treasure Coast. Last year 1st round playoffs against Seminole Ridge it was a tale of 2 halves. 1st half Seminole Ridge outplayed TC only to get outplayed in the 2nd half. 2nd round Boca had TC beat and TC ran off 2 late TD's, fumble return and dumb INT, to pull it out. Boca and Seminole Ridge scrub's outplayed TC for 5 out of 8 quarters. Treasure Coast won both games but 4-5 on the list is about right. American Heritage is no light weight and niether is Park Vista (on paper). District 7 6-A football is good so be proud cuz Titan's are good, but ya ain't all that.

u can talk all tht crap how we pulled it out late to win the games but it doesnt matter how we won. all tht matters is that we beat boca and seminole ridge. and i still believe only teams tht would give us trouble are the top 3

RE: TCHS can not hang with the top three, no way-no how, not even believable. I was at the round 2 regional playoff game last year. Boca had Treasure Coast BEAT and yes Treasure Coast GOT LUCKY and Boca fell apart in the last 4 minutes of the game. Congratulations to Treasure Coast, you won the game. The problem I have TCHS is from the way it sounds The Ridge and Boca did hang with Treasure Coast and I would put American Heritage above them. It sounds to me like you want to be recognized for what your not, a champion. Treasure Coast is a top defensive team, but offensively, you have problems. You better worry about your own district because Vero, Centennial, and Gardens are the ones you have to worry about first, then will see who's right.

Treasure Coast Titans, Ha Ha Ha. You guy's got a good football team but you are not part of the big boy's. Last year you got spanked by Mainland 37-0. The week before Mainland got spanked by Miami Central 31-0. Miami Central, Tampa Plant, Miramar, Glades Central, St. Thomas Aquinas, Dwyer,... nope no Treasure Coast. Titans ARE NOT in this league. Titans are a better than average 6-A team, just like Boca, Seminole Ridge, Park Vista,...so what! I agree with trouble comment, great D but poor offense. Titans averaged 13 points a game on offense last year, while the teams above averaged 45 points a game. Titans are good but to come on this site and say Dwyer Panthers can "hang with the Titans" Dwyer was ranked the #1 team in the State of Florida last year fool. Beat Mainland next year and then come back and talk smack. Till then, shut you freakin piehole fool.

That's because Seminole Ridge played JV's and back up for most of those scrimmages. When the 1st were in they dominated those plays. No score was being kept so they rested the #1's. Remember last years camp at FAU?

DON'T MEAN NOTHING, especially scrimmage camp, that's like practice. I am pretty sure Seminole Ridge would have a pretty easy time against Kings in a real game.

It's all evidence of the Palm Beach county reality. It is a small school dominated county as far as success. The large schools in this county are pretty mediocre for the most part.

The what said ?????? ti win anything, you know it's opinions of people liking what they have seen and every year that's how it goes so your comments about Kings or any others has to wait. I heard at the UCF camp first day was rough for them, but by the end people were saying a lot of good things there and Friday the offense got it going and d as well the qb had a real good day on friday and struggled a some on sat. but heard only a second year guy and first year full time on varsity the grove kid did pretty good out of the back field and some nice d. Give it time. Seems to always be jealously from so many people on here about kings and some others. Over all there are some good picks on here that are always in the mix and with Heritage when you can reload every year with offers of academic scholarships to really play a sport and most of the time are juniors or seniors how can you compete with that. It's very difficult, but all the same you still have to play them so teams have to find a way to beat the Italian Stallion wow I think there are those schools you tried to down on here will surprise you and Dwyer, Pahokee,Glades Central, etc.are you kidding.

Stallion you mean the highest paid team why would a coach leave a team that was so good every year with all new players between juniors and seniors that never went there growing into the program, and now are starting to dig in and get the 10th graders and baseball team is no different. I am sure you work hard but you are also the highest paying team and get a lot of talent. It's not hard to win when you have that combination academic scholarships to get the talent. I bet you are on one and good for you. Most kids would take it too!

Same thing was being said this time last year, other than Floyd, what makes em look solid. Bad district means they really don't have to be that good. But honestly, they got beat up pretty bad last year outside District.

How can say 4-9 have a history of UNDERACHIEVEMENT! To start with, Park Vista and Seminole Ridge are fairly new schools, 5-7 years open, so how can they be underachievers considering how far they have come. Pahokee, come on! They have a bad year and a couple of bad kids and you want to say they underachieve, WOW. They belong #3 on that list and would destroy Glades Day, American Heritage, as a football team, no underachievement and current State Champions. As a school, they should be punished by the FHSAA. Boca, Are a team that is poised to move UP a level and was a mistake away of winning region, last year.
As a side note, the difference between the "big"school vs. "small"school debate is; big schools have a much harder road thru the playoff's by virtue of many more schools with good football teams, simple. Not better football teams always, but twice as many good teams.
No team on this list, with the exception of Kings lately, are underachievers. Every team goes up and down and Kings Academy, PB Gardens, PB Lakes, all are on the rise and could be 9 or 10 on this list.
Glades Day are a 1 player team and Taylor will always get his individual awards, but I doubt they can win against the other teams just below them on this list on a regular basis. Taylor has a great game and maybe they beat a Park Vista, no defense, But a Seminole Ridge or Boca that have very good defense's, Nope no way #3, more like 7-8.
Finally, Glades Central, they have to be #1. The game is played on the field and until Dwyer BEATS GC on the field, Dwyer does not belong above GC on any ranking. A big disappointment in Palm Beach County HS Football is they will not play each other this upcoming season because that would settle the debate. GC beat Dwyer last year and that's, that!

Once again, Public small school's, i.e., Glades Central and Pahokee have been above the rest of the County for a while. Dwyer, on top now is a big school. It is Jupiter Christan, Glades Day, American Heritage, who I agree, have success due to an easier path thru playoff's. Less games, Less competition. 1-A, 1-B champions would not make it past 2nd-3rd round in 4-6 A. Glades Day 1-B championship had 8 teams competing for title, while Dwyer 4-A Championship had 16 teams---HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! Just look at the brackets and ANYONE can see the amount of competition is not even close. Knock off the top three and the big schools take over, but we'll never know because they don't or won't play each other.

ATL is the softest in district. 7-n-7 they walk off the field and concede cuz it's HOT and they want to save their energy, bunch of kitty cats. To top that you come in to town on your fancy buses talking crap and you leave with your heads down cuz your defense in fat and weak. Can't wait to see ATL get destroyed against district opponents. Bring it!!!

Actually im not a kings fan i brought up the spring game so i wouldn't see any other comments bringing down this very impressive John i team. If this game were to be played again i have no doubt in my mind Leonard would win. This summer this team has really changed, got better and have become a closer team. Heard they made it to the semi's in the fau 7 on 7 tournament.

Funny once again found another place to stir the pot and Leonard maybe said it perfect about people cutting on there team except guess who kings. I read a lot of good comments from the people from there so no big essay you put your own foot in your mouth. Think the thread says asking about who's opinion is about top ten schools might be coming up this season. And Lenoard may be right if they played again in the session could be different they have some nice players. All you do is cut on schools and people stay off please, unless you can stay positive.

no lack of assests at kings they have a FOOTBALL TEAM they may not be a top 8 school (no.9) according to most posts on this thread but they do have a bunch of assets (brian grove, gage batten, alain deltor, shane bussey) enough to WIN football games which is all that matters we cant wait for heritige this year its going to be a war not the blow out that is was last year b/c of craig dobsons (head coach) illness

What about Wellington? They have a huge offensive line, could be the biggest in PBC. 2 of there guys are major to mid major lineman. Big WR 6'3 and 6'6. Running back are hard nosed kids. Defense is faster than its been. Not saying there #1 but much much better....Your thoughts out there?

Da well good question, maybe you can see what the coach has to say since he is a big shot that knows everything and loves to bash kings. Just because coach dobson illness could have been a factor last minute changes, but for sure heritage was solid, but who can't be when everybody in the state knows they get away with breaking recruiting rules every year and must have been close to getting caught or why would there coach leave a program like that, but point I guess is a guy that writes on here with good knowledge is I know 561 he has some good insight and I'll tell ya Wellington could be a sleeper for sure if you have a massive line and can run the ball and mix it up a little in the air and sounds

Other than Park Vista, Kings Academy are the biggest crybabies. Keep on crying because we will bash Kings every time they loose a game. You and only you have to blame for that. If you do not believe me ask anyone from Park Vista. If Tre mason went to Haiti this summer to help in the aftermath of the earthquake, somehow, someway, someone would criticize him. Why, because of all the nonsense Park Vista talked on this site. Now Kings is taking Park Vistas place, good luck with that.

Good job there back on track, now you got gardens in that top ten. Is that a pre season observation based on spring games and some transfers etc. Or just cause of there history. What do you think about Wellington heard they are gettiing big and fast with some talent that is building in there. I agree with the others for what they did last year and GD with Taylor can't count them out unless they box him up and teams make them beat them by air. They lost a running back and that real good reciever and tanner has been a little shaky in spring and 7 on 7, but that doesn't mean everything. Any way good stuff and not long now the lights will be on. I can't wait to see how Pahokee plays out I bet they will be better than what some are saying and ridge and boca could be down some what do you think?

Park Vista only loss to 5-A was the last game of the season AFTER they lost the tie-breaker. A 1 pt meaningless loss to Lake Worth. SPRING DOES NOT COUNT!!! Santaluces is a team on the rise, but when you talk crap you get it right back. PV is a much better football team than Santaluces. Want to talk about last season. To bad mouth Atlantic as if they were sorry is foolish. Atl. had an off year when they should of been District Champs, happens. You won district with no good teams in it, so what.
How did you do against the likes of Sem. Ridge. Answer: 48-0 loss. Park Vista has to play themselves off the top 10. Santaluces has to play their way on the top 10. Doubt either will happen. -
Glades Central vs Dwyer: first game of the year. I know they don't play this year and that's a shame because 561 high school football wants-begs for this match-up. Not going to happen though, both teams chose to play on TV, ESPN against out-of-state teams. I understand why, I just believe that Raiders against Panthers is one of the best match-ups in the COUNTRY and that should be on ESPN cuz that would be one hell-of-a football game. Too bad.

American heritage very good program rumors of recruting but still not seeing them beating top 5 but for sure can be top 10.

All i'm reading is a bunch of negative comments from a negative person. Remember Heritage only lost to glades central by 2 touchdowns wich means to me that they can hang with the top 5 because those raiders i believe are number one in the county. Let kings be happy over their win over a 5a school. It wasn't the best i've seen leonard play but kings did beat them on the field so let them be happy. I'm pretty sure jupiter christian and glades day could hang with the best but thats just my opinion im not saying they are better but they could put up a good fight.

And yah i gave it to kings to that is really good to beat a semi large public school i give them a lot of credit for playing the spring game.

Negative? FYI, Jupiter Christian played Glades Central a heck of a lot tougher then Boca did last year, and as for Park Vista, they smashed them at the UCF camp. Teams like Jupiter Christian, American Heritage, and Glades Day can hang with anyone in Palm Beach County except mayber Dwyer, Glades Central and a typical Pahokee team (not this year) as well or better then any big school. To mention Park Vista & Boca in the same breath as GC, Dwyer & Pahokee is a joke

Yeah, other than the top 3, ALL the rest ain't much comparatively and even Pahokee is a drop off from the past. However they would beat anyone other than top two and they played GC the best last year, besides Cocoa.
American Heritage is a good program that was able to reload. (Scholarships) boo!
Jupiter Christian lost too much in graduation and will not be as good as last season even though easy march thru playoffs helps.
Glades Day lives and dies with KT. If KT is what he is supposed to be, GD will be hard to beat In 1-B. If he goes down, GD goes down. Easy walk thru playoffs helps.
Park Vista is ALL on paper. TM is full of himself and turns negative when game gets tough. O-line was big and strong last year but 8-6A is to though to win with nothing else. PV should be ranked 10th.
Boca is a whole lot better than given credit for. They belong 4th and would most likely beat PV, GD, AH, JC, even w/o Eddie Sullivan. Back up is pretty good. Defense will be huge this year with multi-optional offense.
Seminole Ridge is the best they have ever been and that means they will win 7-8 games. They are week @ defensive back but word on the street is that is were
J.T. Thornton transferred, and that could mean their even better. 8-6A favorites.Atlantic, who knows? One would think with the talent pool they would be a 3 or 4 on that list. Defense last year got pushed around pretty easily. If they figure it out, from first-to-worse than back-to-first, They will win IF they get it together.
as for the rest, King's-Garden's-Lake's-Jupiter are on my radar West Boca too. Lake Worth-Royal Palm-Wellington-John I Leonard -Santaluces... and the rest, Sorry, but not this year.
PS: Camp, Spring, 7-n-7 are not the 10+ game season and ARE NOT the measure of a team vs. team in real game situation, the final score in spring is not why the game is played. Camp is a scrimmage and once again, the final score does not matter one little bit. 7-n-7 is flag football and about speed and passing game, your QB reads are much easier than the real deal, whole different game.

But I do not agree with you that Park Vista would beat American Heritage at all. Jupiter Christian was very good last year and would of given any of the 8 6-A teams a run for their money, so could Glades Day. This year I give 8 6-A teams the edge, except PV.

I think the good private school is made up a few players and they beat the other private schools so bad because of the lack of complete skill like teams like summit christian, berean, ect ect -
Dont no which is more pathetic, getting your ass beat by a 1b school or coming up with a lame excuse "that a team camp is different then a game" What a joke. No wonder Park Vista has never accomplished anything.

Well win or loose a game is ok at least some people have the guts tom get out there and get after it no matter what class. I will tell you this not every big school is so powerful just ask some of them that got beat by Heritage, GD, Kings, JC,, and there are plenty more throughout then state. You can put pads on and play and the team that works there hardest and has the talent will most of the time win, but you take some teams that just think cause they are big school what ever doesn't mean you will win. And it doesn't matter spring game 7 on 7 summer camps, what ever if your so good then you should be able to beat small schools every which way there is, but you don't and it's proven very time spring games are played and in the summer camps. Small schools are not as bad as you big name posters say so get ready for your own season and see where you end up.

To compare the road taken in the playoffs by small schools versus big schools is not even close. Small schools have 1/2 the competition and a much easier road to the championship--FACT. 1A-1B is a joke and there are 50-60 big schools in Florida that if they played @ that level would win the championship. American Heritage, Jupiter Christian, and Glades Day would not make it out of the regional final--(2nd round win).
The comparison is a LOL joke, just look at the playoff bracket's from last year and it speaks for it's self. Your success is good but we all no what it really is-- minor league--comparatively. Does anyone believe that AH or GD can hang with Deland, Niceville, Manatee, Armwood, Mainland, and on-and-on. Not one of those teams won a championship last year and they all would destroy the aforementioned small schools. There are the Glades Central, Cocoa, Pensacola's that can hang with any team in Florida, but you guy's are not even close.

Who did a small school beat in the spring, King's beat John I Leonard. Wow there real good, NOT, they suck. Garden's beat Glades Day and Garden's is not a top 5 big school in 561. Total Hollow BS and that's all it is. I agree about Park Vista, all hype. So far they are a paper tiger and that's it.

counting glades central as a small school i give small schools the edge this year except aginst dwyerwho is prob the best scholl besides gc i think GDS kings AH and jupiter christain whould beat the other big schools in the first 3 quaters and hold on for the victoiry in the 4th quater only because of lack of depth i know gds kings and heriting could be schools like alantic and boca there is no question the playoff compition is hgarder in the upper levels because there are more teams but in this county small school football with the exception of dwyer is where it has been living for years

I don't think American Heritage beats Boca, not last year or this year.
Sem. Ridge would beat Glades Day by 20 with kelvin Taylor and Jupiter Christian WILL NOT be anywhere near as good as they were last year. Why, no Rothman or Powers.Take your weak schedules and easy march thru playoff's and enjoy it. BUT, until you beat somebody big, you will always be little and bigger is better.I think easy success is 100% right, there are a bunch of big schools who would win 1-A or 1-B championship including a few right here in 561.
Palm Beach Gardens may not be what they were a couple of years ago, but they beat Glades Day this year.

Who needs a top 10 lists, everybody knows it's all about the ATL / Atlantic High. Like T.O. says, "Get you popcorn ready" because we planning to put on a special show this season and it starts with Booker T. Washington for Kickoff Classic.

Terrell Owens is old and washed up. I would start rookie Jordan Shipley over Owens.
