Next week is our annual Muck Bowl and everyone is excited in Pahokee… We have the opportunity to hand GC their first loss of the season and Devils are motivated… I know that GC fans are thinking that they are going to destroy the Devils but they need to think again… We have heart in PK and we are going to play our best game. I can’t wait to see the look of discus on the GC Raiders’ fans faces as the Devils walk away with the victory….

Its Muck Bowl time! For all of you thats been bashing the Blue Devils its on now. Some how we've become the team Palm Beach County loves to hate. Even though we've brought the county title after title, theres no love given to us. Well, we've made the playoff yet again. One game at a time Blue Devils and play like the champions we are. Now on to the Muck Bowl. Glades Central 9-0 barely tested and I think has only given up 3tds this season. With all that said and done. For the folks outside of Western Palm Beach county those stats might scare you, but not Pahokee. We see the raiders and we want the raiders.Its nothing new. You dont shock us with your speed and talent because if you look in the mirror, you'll see a Blue Devil. I have faith that the team aswell as the coaching staff will bring their A game saturday night. Raiders its time you guys taste defeat, go Blue Devils!

Glades Central is number 2 in the state for a reason. Their D is tuff and LJ has many weapons. They have been beating teams by just going threw the motions. They will be ampt for this one. Pk just doesn't have it this year. I'm not saying they can't win state but I think GC takes this one. I wouldn't be suprised if GC handles them with ease. Bye the way how about those Dwyer Panthers!!!!!!!!

I think Glades Central has this one. Pahokee has good players but something just ain't working (blame it on the coaches or whoever you want).Former PK player, what do you mean barely tested? I suggest you look at yall own schedule before you speak on something. We were tested with Dwyer ( WON) and they played jump rope on yall. When the Raiders look in the mirror they see a Raider; greatness.... nothing about a Raider resembles a DEVIL. Also, GC don't taste defeat often... maybe you should tell us how it taste!

Myself and another pahokee golfer won the 3rd annaul MUCK BOWL SHOOTOUT golf competition saturday at Sugarcane Golf Coarse placing first and second! We won the golf trophy! Now the BLUE DEVILS will bring home the football trophy!

Say What, I was just saying that talent and speed you guys have. We've got the same thing. As for Dwyer yeah they beat us, but what does that have to do with the Muck Bowl. You guys haven't really had a close game all year, to me that means not been tested. That wasn't a knock aganist your schedule. Just facts! Every year we treat the Muck Bowl like its a playoff game. I agree that the Dwyer games have nothing to do with the Muck Bowl. Yes, GC has struggled in the playoffs lately. Yes, PK have won championships lately. None of that matters now. PK's true colors will be tested this season. 2B has more competition now. And you REAL Blue Devils know that your OC folds under pressure. Chaminade will be at the Muck Bowl.

I agree our team will be tested but so will Glades Central. Chaminade can stand on the GC sidelines who cares. We're focused on Glades. To say what, if you know anything about sports then you know this. No matter what its about what have you done lately. We've won titles GC has choked. Its facts buddy! In case you didn't notice Belle Glade isn't the big city either. We dont have much, thats true. You guys dont have much either. LMAO. I'm not one to bring up kids grades, thats not the issue maybe you should read into the story first. He want be the first or the last at any school to not have the grades. I forgot to mention how the Muck Bowl has help us in our title runs. Playing in a game that has that many talented players gets you on another level for the title game. I must admit more than likely we want see another team that talented. I can admit that. Its easier to go out and perform at a high level when you've played great talent already.

All I want to say is that Pahokee has heart, guts, and has been tested this year. We don't get fustrated and lose composure when we find ourselves in tough situations. We Stand tall, and play four quarters of football. We're resilient, strong, and We play as a team. With that being said, I think those kind of qualities in a team will carry us Saturday night to win the Muck Bowl and bring back the Trophy. Forget the schedules...Forget records, because when We play each other, we play the best game of the season, and Anyone can come home with the win. Now for my Analysis. Pahokee has had great defense all season long...no one seems to notice that since so much attention is been given to our Offense, and how they've performed. My thoughts are this, If Pahokee can shut down or even limit the Passing game (we did so last year) then we have an opportunity to win the game. GC's running game doesn't impress me...the Offensive line is young and not that talented...Hester even said that himself. Shut down the Air Attack, Pahokee wins. But, Pahokee has to be consistent with their offense. We've been tested, so that gives us an advantage. I hate to say it but, If GC gets down, they will get fustrated and will lose composure..It happens all the time. Now enough, Let the boys settle it on the field. DEVILS NEVER QUIT....BELIEVE THAT!

Well all I have to say is that I came home college to watch my Raiders take control of this game cause I kno that the trophy will remain in Raider county. PK has been tested through their whole season n Dwyer made history n PB Lakes gave them a run for their money. Raiders offense don't have no problem will scoring on dem Blue Devils and our defense gon shut yall down cause my defense is on point. I hope both teams will make it to state cause aint nobody putting PK down but I guarantee u that GC will make it to Orange County and win so we won't have no problems at all. I'm not sure when we finally start calling it the Muck Bowl,But this Rivalry goes back when the two school was call Lake Shore (Belle Glade) & East Lake (Pahokee) . Way before we merge with Belle Glade Rams. And yes over 50yrs -
WE ALL KNOW THAT GLADES CENTRAL HAS HAD A GOOD YEAR THIS GO ROUND, AND IS ON THEIR WAY TO STATE. BUT BESIDES ALL THAT G.C WILL COME OUT ON TOP AGAIN THIS YEAR OVER THEM BLUE DEVILS. "AND JUST TO REMIND EVERYBODY THAT THESE ARE HIGHS SCHOOL'S SO JUST KEEP IN MIND TO BE POSITIVE ABOUT THE GAME AND PLAYER'S BECAUSE THE GAME DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH BRING UP GRADES NOR THEIR G.P.A.'S BECAUSE AT THE END OF THE DAY THE RAIDERS AND BLUE DEVILS PLAYER GET ALONG AND THAT'S THE GOOD PART ABOUT ALL THIS.

"Former PK Player" is totally correct when it comes to GC being "Choke Artists" because after PK win on Saturday, GC will likely lay down against Cardinal Gibbons in the 1st Round of this year's playoffs & make every EXCUSE in the book of why their "PERFECT" season ended @ 9-2... So make sure you save a seat next to the drum major this year in the helicopter after the halftime show for "JET" so he can have a definite ride back to Wellington after "Raiderette Nation" run him out of town after PK wins! Our Motto in PK is "Doubt Us Now, Love Us Later"! Oh let's not forget--It's "just a game"...

D-Nice, I'm so happy you still remember that awesome halftime back in '07. What do you have to show for now? The 7 on 7 was great..Bravo! We've been there, done that.....NEXT! And you try to make an argument that we only beat Catholic/Christian schools, but didn't you just say that a win is a win? And just to add,Usually during the the regular season...Pahokee and GC plays 4 or 5 of the same teams..didn't you realize? And for the last 3 or so years, GC has been knocked out of the playoffs...usually in the 2nd round by mediocre teams...teams that you guys should have and could have beat. You think that it's a fluke that Pahokee has appeared in the State Championship for 6 Straight years...winning 5 out of 6 of those championships? Im not hating on Glades Central....at all. I respect all that you have done...and will do. The Only time when GC don't have my support is when they're playing Pahokee...which is understandable since Im an 05 graduate of Pahokee High and was born and raised in Pahokee. Oh Whatever! We're in a small class...we can't change who we play. By the way, they're not all Private or Catholic/Christian schools....and if they are private schools, then that doesn't mean that they're not a good football team. Look at St. Thomas Aquinas, or Jupiter Christian, And Ocala Trinity... just to name a few. They're all great schools...even though they're not a public school.

You really need to take your time typing. Trying to break down your own language takes about 5 minutes extra. It's actually three Muck Teams; Glades Central, Pahokee, and Glades Day, we just always include Clewiston because they are like family as well.

Yup! Good game..Devils and Raiders. Big ups to my Blue devils, They really did their thing the first half, no one expected us to even compete with the Raiders. Unfortunately...in the fourth, GC took over and put the game away. But through 3 quarters...The game was pretty close, and competitve. I hope Chris and Fred are okay for next week...we really missed them tonight. OBTW, The O.D. Express did their thing..played good and loud, and killed that MJ..Snooth Criminal routine! Glades Central football team and band was on point. The GC dazzling diamonds outfits was soooo cute lol. Pahokee band was okay, the two mascots kind of took over...I mean the crowd whole attention got off the band when they started fooling around. Rapper Piccalo was just the icing on the cake... he was so hype. The whole girl/boy dancing GC did was theeSHIT!
SOME of Pahokee players did show some respect...while alot was just a little extra. I mean they pointing and laughing and carrying on like _________. They (PK) played pretty good in the first half... even though the refs was acting a little fishy. However, GC came out strong and ready.

But yes, The game was really good! I heard that there was roughly 7,000 people in attendance...Huge, huge crowd. I don't remember what Former Pk player said...but If he was criticizing GC, then no I don't cosign that...lol Because you guys have done some great games. Pahokee is nationally known too now...finishing #6 in the nation in 07. But yeah, that was then. The nation still know about us though...(GC and PK) we had articles in NYtimes, USAtoday, and LAtimes just a couple of days ago about the Muck Bowl...and other things. I thought yall had an upset in the works when Noel took that block field goal back before half.(Reminded me of GC against Dwyer) LJ is the best QB in PBC period. Leal and Sullivan are the only others who are close. Some big school has to look at this kid. This game had like 5 sportcenter highlights but I'll pick one for each team. PK DJ's run when he broke that boys ankles at midfield and GC's Dent had four but that catch when LJ dropped back 23 yards is going to be legandary. PK's db was waiting under it like a punt and Dent came out of nowhere. Their was alot of big time talent on that field last night. One more thing who is going to stop Benjamin #3 next year. Well I forget to mention for raider 05 we had a win streak that was like 33 wins in a role. We didn't loose a game in 2006 or 2007 and lost in South Carolina like game 5 of 2008. Now back to the topic. I appreciate you "FORMER PK PLAYER" for giving credit when credit is due. Both team played well ( although those refs was full of BS at first)..but no one was seriously hurt. As far as Pickett and Dunkley, I don't know the extent of their injuries but I'm sure they will recover. As you can see Pahokee was kind of slipping when they lost their three VERY important players...and with playoffs right around the corner that could be a problem.
Congrats to my Raiders/Band, again, for a job well done. I think GC need to get more bleachers when it comes to Muck Bowl...because we were packed like some damn sardines.

Yeah, Pickett was hurting pretty bad on the sideline...they said it was a concussion, but from what I saw...it looked as if they were working on his rib area...he was hurting there too, holding his side and breathing really hard. Yeah, I hope he's okay too. As for Dunkley, he already had a problem with his hamstring, that's why he didn't practice all week. And when he went full out for that pass that Dejoushua overthrew to him (he burnt yall DB, lol) he reinjured his hamstring when he came down hard trying to make a leaping catch in the end zone. PK: When they kicked the ball off to GC and Dent ran it all the way home! Also I think they gave up when they found out Dunkley and Pickett were out. The had no reason to give up! They players who had Little talk-about were suppose to shine! This was there time. And im also mad at the Coach for mentioning in a televised interview that he'd rather win the Muck Bowl instead of STATE!
GC: Let dude from PK block a punt and reurn it for a touch down! And their kicker! There have already been protests oon him! Exactly how many did he accomplish? Ws it 1 out of 5? Sum like dat!
Both teams did their thing! I want to congratulate them now:
PK: Came out strong and you defense represented. Your offensive line put down!
GC: Y'all had 1 problem that was easily corrected and it was idenified in one of the post game articles. You guys stated that at half-time, yall got clamed down! I like that because after half-time, y'all limited PK to almost nothing! I just thing y'all were a little bit to excited/hyped! But yall calmed down and defense tightened up!
These are flaws BOTH teams have to tighten up On! Were in the playoffs now! 1 bad play might mess up the whole game!
