Hard to believe a guy with such a storied football career could have so little class. He clearly doesn't understand what life will be like next year when Sullivan is gone. Paybacks are going to be severe.....Just hope his son will have the grades to play!

Game was over tonight and he wanted more. THrew the ball late in the game to pad Sullivans stats. Had him throw a one yard TD pass with 3 minutes left up by 20. Last year while coaching a JV game he called a time out with ten seconds to go. He was up by six at the time but wanted more. Could have taken a knee but ran a trick play to score one more time. He's in for a surprise....teams will be gunning for him.

Coach your team and dont worry about what others do. Kids dont care about these things! Dodd coach your team up. Beat Byars a$$ next year or later this year. No I dont coach at Boca. I hate Boca but coach your team and quit crying. That is a worse example that running up the score. Byars coaches Boca. You coach PV. And Jason - yes you do give opinions - read Atlantic - statement you made. Statement you made in this article is an opinion. I have college degrees and can read!!! Jason - stick to reporting!!!!! YOU REALLY DONT DO THAT VERY WELLL!@!!!!!!!

Which part of it is an opinion? Be specific. Any time somebody reads something they don't like, their default position is to call it biased.

Oh yeah, the Atlantic thing, yes, I gave an opinion on them that they underachieve. Absolutely. I did that in a venue for opinion.
As for the "could have taken a knee" line... They could have, right? Isn't that a fact? Taking a knee was a realistic option. Isn't also a fact that most teams take a knee in that spot? That's not an opinion.
If I had said, "the right thing to do was take a knee," that would be opinion and I wouldn't have written that. I don't have an opinion on whether Byars was right. Maybe my opinion is that Dodds should not have complained. Who knows?

I've accused Jason of being a Boca homer many times in the past. This time I can't say that he is doing anything other than his job. I read no bias in his article. It's funny that Boca takes offense in his writing, they're not used to honest unbiased reporting when it comes to their football team. PV will be back next year, Byars better start preparing now because that team will drop off of the charts without Sullivan. BTW Byars...I hear the Boynton QB has an interest in ROTC, think you could help him out?

Jason your opinion comes thru lound and clear!!!!!!! Fb fan - Byars did not recruit Sullivan - that coach got fired! AND the player should not be allowed to play!!!! And yes Jason that is fact!

PS I dont agree with Byars decision! My reason though would be injury to my player.It is their job to stop scoring.

PBGAMETIME.com who ever is in charge of this website, needs to clean this blog up, I thought this was a sports blog. I am not a fan of Coach Byars or Boca, but think it is not right to be talking about things you have right to talk about, just because your team got beat bad on a friday night.

play for 48 minutes is always the right answer if : its a close game,points will determine the outcome of your season.this was not the case and your coached showed two things.he does not care about eddies well being and he has no class.
this has nothing to do with losing but everything to do with someones charcter -

If you guys want to accuse either coach of doing the wrong thing or being classless or even being a lousy coach, that's fair game. If you want to accuse me of any of those things, that's fine, too. You even criticize their mustaches or rip me for not having one. If you want to discuss the Boca-Vista game, go ahead.
All of you know where the line is as far as what is appropriate, please do not cross it.

keith is the best coach in palm beach county. and boca high has the best offense and the county 2. no one can stop eddie or these 4 wideout ( # 1,3,9,25 ).

Keith Byars is anything but the best coach in the county...its easy to look like a great coach when you have the top QB in the area...i cant wait to see how great a coach he is next year

Yea i was at the glades central game. But every since that game Boca high as not lose a game. These kids on a roll no one could stop them. And what i like most is how Eddie is starting to find the open receiver. To me all of Boca high wide out ( # 1,3,9, and 25 ) are all D-1 receiver and game changer. So u could hate Boca high all you want. Jus go look at these kids stats and then you will jump on the band wagon. LETS GO BOCA. LETS SHOCK THE WORLD AND GO ALL THE WAY. DISTRICT CHAMPS BABY
