The Jethro Lorme situaiton at Park Vista brings up a very interesting debate. Can drop dead no excption rules be the only system for discipline? Is this old fashioned?Do we treat everyone the same? Do you take in consideration specific needs for specific individuals as we are not all the same? What about being a mentor , role model, teacher, and a coach? Or do we just discipline every kid by my way or the highway style? I 'm sorry I don't see to many BEAR BRYANTS, WOODY HAYES,BOB KNIGHT type coach's being very successfull in 2010.Society has changed, people have changed, and athletes are no exceptions.

Spare the rod spoil the child.Rules are just that we have to have them to fuction as a society. If not we would have no order. So what if some kid can't play football we have to look at the greater good.

As much as I would like to see Jethro back at some poin, the coaching staff at PV was more than forgiving when it comes to Jethro. I can think of a few schools that would benefit from a strong coaching staff such as the one at PV.
